Police warn residents of automated scam calls

A spokesperson for the police has said: “Please be aware local residents are receiving scam automated calls from mobile numbers claiming to be from banks! Do not engage and if you can block the number! You can contact Telephone Preference Service 0800 398893 Free service not to receive unsolicited calls.”
